Pursuant to Florida Statute section 155.40 the Board of Directors determined at the public meeting held June 26, 2025 that it is in the best interest of our community to initiate the request for proposal process in search of a qualified partner, lessor, affiliate, purchaser or joint venture participant.
Please be advised that DCHD has initiated the request for proposal for a potential affiliation, sale, lease, merger, partnership, or joint venture. A copy of the request for proposal may be viewed on the DMH website at www.dmh.org.

This public meeting shall be held for the purpose of allowing all interested parties the opportunity to be heard with respect to the sale, lease, merger, partnership, or joint venture of DeSoto Memorial Hospital.
At the conclusion of the proposal period a subsequent public meeting will be scheduled to review the proposals submitted. The board may select 2 or 3 finalists and request that each make a presentation at a public meeting to be scheduled pursuant to the terms of the statute.
