  • RN OR - Full Time Days (must have OR/ENDO/PACU/Pre-OP experience)

  • RN Home Health - FT, PT, PRN (must have home health experience)

  • LPN Home Health - FT, PT, PRN (must have home health experience)

  • Behavioral Health - Program Nurse 

  • Case Manager - RN, MSW, or LCSW Part Time Days (hospital experience preferred)

  • Case Management Director RN - Full Time Days (hospital experience required)

  • LPN Corrections - Full Time Varied Shifts

  • CNA Med/Surg -  Full Time Nights

  • OR Surgical Tech - Full Time Days (share call rotation)

  • Respiratory Therapy - RT/CRT/CRRT, Full Time Days  (must have 1 year experience in an acute care setting) 

  • Respiratory Therapy - RT/CRT/CRRT, Pool All Shifts  (must have 1 year experience in an acute care setting)  

  • Physical Medicine - Physical Therapist Full Time Days

  • Physical Medicine - Speech Language Pathologist Full Time Days 

  • Physical Medicine - Occupational Therapist Full Time Days

  • CT/XRAY Technologist - PRN/Pool   

 Potential staff members who will be working in direct contact with patients as clinical employees must have the following:

  • Valid and Clear Florida License (for your applied field)

  • American Heart Association BLS Certification

  • American Heart Association ACLS Certification is also required for some roles, but may be acquired after hire

Non-Clinical Openings:
  • Patient Accounts Cashier - FT Mon-Fri

  • Emergency Room Unit Clerk - FT Days

  • Emergency Room Registration Clerk - Pool/PRN 

  • Registration Clerk - Pool/PRN

DeSoto Memorial Hospital is a 49 bed rural community hospital located in the heart of Arcadia which is just east of Sarasota. We proudly serve a local population of nearly 34,000 residents.  We offer our patients safe and compassionate treatment in our ER, Med-Surg, ICU,  IV Therapy, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Services, Home Health, Physical Medicine, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation units.  We have expanded our services to include a state of the art Hyperbaric Chamber Wound Care Program and we also now offer mammography with contrast.  Our Hospital earned a Four Star Rating in 2021 from Centers for Medicaid/Medicare.
