DeSoto Memorial Hospital is a 49 bed rural community hospital located in the heart of Arcadia which is just east of Sarasota. We proudly serve a local population of nearly 34,000 residents.  We offer our patients safe and compassionate treatment in our ER, Med-Surg, ICU, IV Therapy, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Services, Home Health and Physical Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation units.  We have expanded our services to include a state of the art Hyperbaric Chamber Wound Care Program and we also now offer mammography with contrast.  Our Hospital earned a Three Star Rating in 2020 from Centers for Medicaid/Medicare.

Potential staff members who will be working in direct contact with patients as clinical employees must have the following:

Valid and Clear Florida License (for your applied field)
American Heart Association BLS Certification
American Heart Association ACLS Certification is also required for some roles, but may be acquired after hire.
