Registered Nurses
  • CRNA - Full Time. No OB or Peds. 

  • Med/Surg - Full Time, Days. 7A - 7P

  • ER - Full Time, Days. 10A - 10P

  • ICU - Full Time, Nights. 7P - 7A. Minimum 2 Years Acute Care Experience.

  • OR - Full Time, Days. Must have OR/ENDO/PACU/PreOP

  • CORRECTIONS LPN - Full Time, Varied Shifts and Weekend Rotations. LPN experience in Corrections Preferred.

Clinical (Non-Nursing)

  • Med/Surg - CNA's, Full Time nights and Pool, all shifts

  • Respiratory Therapy - RT/CRT/CRRT, Pool, Nights.  Must have 1 year experience in an acute care setting.  ACLS and BLS required.

  • Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist,  Full Time days.

  • Speech Therapist - Speech therapist, Part Time.  Experience with Modified Barium Swallows is preferred.

  • MRI/CT/XRAY Technologist - Full Time Position. Start Date August 2020. We are seeking a Full Time Technologist with a minimum of one year MRI, CT and XRay experience. ARRT and MRI Certification is preferred.

  • CT/XRAY Technologist - PRN/Pool Position. Start Date August 2020. We are seeking a PRN/Pool Technologist with a minimum of one year CT Experience required. ARRT CT Certification is preferred. Two Vacancies.

    All Clinical Staff in a Patient Care Role at DeSoto Memorial Hospital must have an American Heart Association BLS certification. American Heart Association BLS is our standard requirement.

  • Human Resources Assistant - Full Time, Days. Performs routine department functions consisting of employee benefits and employee file maintenance to ensure a smooth operation of the Human Resources and Education Department. Our ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, customer service skills and organizational skills. Healthcare experience is helpful.

  • Accounts Payable Clerk - Full Time, Days. Processing of all disbursements including coding with general ledger accounts,
     data entry of invoice information, printing checks, monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Cashier - Full Time, Days. Our ideal candidate will have excellent computer and customer service skills. 

DeSoto Memorial Hospital is a 49 bed rural community hospital located in the heart of Arcadia which is just east of Sarasota. We proudly serve a local population of nearly 34,000 residents.  We offer our patients safe and compassionate treatment in our ER, Med-Surg, ICU, IV Therapy, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical Services, Home Health and Physical Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation units.  We have just expanded our services to include a state of the art Hyperbaric Chamber Wound Care Program and most recently, we now offer mammography with contrast.  Our Hospital earned a Three Star Rating in 2019 from Centers for Medicaid/Medicare and our Home Health Agency earned a Five Star rating.

Potential staff members who will be working in direct contact with patients as clinical employees must have the following:

Valid and Clear Florida License (for your applied field)
American Heart Association BLS Certification
American Heart Association ACLS Certification is also required for some roles, but may be acquired after hire.
