Laboratory

The DMH laboratory is a "State of the Art" service-oriented facility. The Lab consists of five departments: chemistry, hematology, blood bank, serology, microbiology and coagulation.

The DMH lab is accredited by AHCA and the Joint Commission. 

The lab here at DeSoto Memorial is an
Authorized Third Party Collection Facility for Quest Diagnostics.

The new outpatient draw area was designed with our patients in mind providing private drawing rooms for privacy. Most of the tests your physician orders can be run in our laboratory with a quick turn-around-time.

• PTR/INR fast, accurate results – fast and easy.
• Chain of Custody drug collection

• Lipid profile testing: - Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, LDL
• Thyroid testing
• Diabetes Testing:

•             Hemoglobin- A1C,
•             Glucose tolerance testing (by appointments please)
• High Sensitivity CRP   
• Chemo CBC checks
