DeSoto Memorial Hospital Center for Family Health is proud to provide exceptional family centered health care for the residents of DeSoto County and surrounding areas. Outstanding medical care in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Women's Health, OB/Gyn, and General surgery is provided by our specialty physicians at the Center. Our goal is to provide our patients with caring, compassionate service that meets their primary care needs and expectations. Walk-ins are accepted for Family Practice and Pediatrics, but we recommend scheduling an appointment to minimize your wait time - 863-494-8401. Most insurance plans are accepted and a sliding payment scale is available.

Dr. Gordon Page, Family Practice

Dr. Page graduated Georgetown University School of Medicine in1978. Prior to practicing in Arcadia, he was the Medical Director of a rural health center in Michigan and in private, family practice for 10 years. He is board certified in Ambulatory Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the AMA.

Dr. Kiersa Durfee, OB/GYN

Dr. Durfee graduated in 1997 with a B.A. degree in chemistry from Taylor University in Upland, IN. She studed abroad in Cambridge, England before beginning medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, which she completed in 2004. Dr. Durfee completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Medcial Center in Phoenix, AZ in 2008. She also received her board certification in 2010.

Dr. Fawn Harrison, Pediatrician

Dr. Harrison graduated from Florida State University College of Medicine in 2005. Her pediatric residency was completed at the University of South Florida through All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL and Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. She also received her board certification in 2009.

Dr. Vasant Patel, Surgeon

Dr Patel graduated from Baroda Medical College in India in 1970. He came to the United States and finished a General Surgery Residency in New York City, NY at the Catholic Medical Center in 1977.  He is board certified in General Surgery and was in private practice in Warren, Ohio until 2004. He spent 2 years in Kentucky beofre moving permanently to DeSoto County in 2007.
