Vincent A. Sica - Chief Executive Officer
Vince and his family moved to Arcadia in 1994 and have become an integral part of DeSoto County. Prior to becoming the CEO at DMH in September, 2006 Vince was a practicing attorney. He was a sole practitioner and the sole shareholder in Vincent A. Sica, P.A..As part of Vince's dedication to the community he has served on several volunteer Boards including; Bulldog Boosters, Early Childhood Coalition, DeSoto County Youth Athletic Association and the City Police and Firefighters Retirement Board.
From January, 2004 through January, 2006, Vince served as Chairman of the Hospital Board of directors.In October of 2006, the Chamber of Commerce recognized Vince as its citizen of the year. Vince is a native Floridian and graduated from the University of Florida in 1976 with a B.S. in Chemistry. In 1977 Vince received his Bachelors in Clinical Chemistry from the University of South Florida.After working as a school teacher and a research chemist Vince returned to school and received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law and remains an active member of the Florida Bar.
Beverley Anne Winston - Chief Nursing Officer
Bev joined the Leadership Team in May 2006. She graduated from Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing and received a Diploma RN. Bev received her Bachelor's in Nursing from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., a Master's Degree in Nursing from Rush University, Chicago and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. She has Board Certification in Nursing Administration Advanced, and is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and Florida Organization of Nurse Executives. Bev is responsible for all patient care areas at DeSoto Memorial Hospital, including ER, ICU, OB, Medical-Surgical, Surgical Services, Pharmacy, Respiratory Care, Home Health Care, Health Information Management, Case Management, Infusion Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, and The Center for Family Health.
Daniel P. Hogan - Chief Financial Officer
Dan is responsible for the Fiscal Departments of General Accounting, Patient Accounting, Registration, and Information Systems. In addition, he also supervises the Dietary and Housekeeping functions. Dan joined DMH in June 2009. He has held CFO responsibilities in hospitals in Ohio, West Virginia, and Michigan. He is a CPA and worked for Ernst & Young in their Cincinnati office. Dan is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants, Financial Executives Institute, and American College of Healthcare Executives. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA degree.
